Cory Lyons is Executive Producer at Blind Nil. As EP, he leads creative, production and post across the company’s growing home and design slate. Organized and efficient, Cory manages layered storytelling through careful planning between talent, construction and design teams on large-scale transformational projects.
Joining Blind Nil in 2020, Lyons launched and oversaw production of the highly-anticipated on-screen return of Chip and Joanna Gaines in Fixer Upper: Welcome Home - leading to Blind Nil’s first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Structured Reality Program.
Cory started his television career in Los Angeles working on broadcast series like Average Joe and Dog Eat Dog for NBC. Dedicated to diverse storytelling, he has worked across a number of unscripted genres including studio competitions, paranormal and relationships. With a degree in Architectural Technology, Cory established himself as a creative professional in the home and design space, leading the field as Producer and Director for HGTV’s Hammer Heads and TLC’s Property Ladder. Additional past titles include: Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures, NBC’s America’s Got Talent and the Sing-Off, and MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew.
A curious thrillseeker at heart, Cory thrives in exotic places and keeps active as a licensed scuba diver and competitive jiu-jitsu artist.
